Browntown Community Park The Browntown Community Park is located along County Highway M. The park, once land owned by Robert Klemm, began buliding in 1982. The park consist of two shelter houses, rest rooms, concession stand, picnic tables, a ball diamond, two volleyball courts, and lots of play ground equipment. The park is host of the annual Browntown Summerfest and the Browntown Fire Dept. fish boil, which is held on Fathers day weekend. The current park board consist of Park Board Chairman: John Sigafus, Joan Pickett, Robert Hanson, Sherrie Dorsey, and Jeri Klemm and Lorraine Albright. The board meets the first Thursday of every month and the public is welcomed to attend. Park reservations can be made by contacting Park Board member Joan Pickett at 966-3504. Special Events Summerfest Celebration was well attended. The Antique Tractor Pull was cancealed due to wet weather and will be held Friday, June 25, 7:00 pm at the Park.
